Bears of the Month:

April Bears of the Month!

Congratulations to Leyla Dumke & Ethan Fynewever for being recognized as our April Bears of the Month at SJHS!

Upton Support Staff Needed:

Upton Middle School is seeking Paraprofessional candidates for two immediate hires. The two positions have different time requirements. One for the hours of 7:30am-12:30pm, the other 10:30am-3:30pm. Anyone interested can view and apply for current postings at the following link:

St. Joseph High School Parent Committee:

The St. Joseph Parent Committee is a group of St. Joe High School parent volunteers who provide support to the high school teachers and staff. We’ve recently begun stocking the teacher's lounge with K Cups and individualized snacks, granola bars, bottles of water and sparkling water, and plan to do so through the end of the school year.  The first week of May is Teacher Appreciation Week and we plan to surprise the staff with a small token of our appreciation for all they do for our students.  The committee does not collect money but rather asks for donations from its parent volunteers via email.

If you’d like to be a part of this committee, you will receive emails periodically with requests for donations - that’s it.  No meetings.  Please email stjosephparentcommittee@gmail.com for more information.

Ren Baldwin Tech Festival:

Rotary Contest Winner: Congratulations!

Please congratulate senior Jaclyn Cool who won the county-wide Rotary essay contest and a $1000 scholarship. Jaclyn competed against 7 other seniors here at SJHS to be our representative, and then, in mid February, she competed against each school in the county, and came in first.

So proud of Jaclyn. She worked very hard on her essay on climate change, infusing the perfect mix of personal voice and researched information.

Mrs. Klusendorf
