St. Joseph High School News 11/22/21 - 11/26/21 Congratulations Kevin Guzzo - Athletic Director Mr. Guzzo was recently recognized for his outstanding work as the St. Joseph High School Athletic Director and was 1 of 3 to receive the Al Bush Award this year across the state of Michigan.  Please see the link below for the complete article!  St. Joseph High School News 11/15/21 - 11/19/21 Veterans Breakfast:  Veterans Breakfast 2021! Academic Challenge Team:  Recently the Academic Challenge Team was entertained by the St. Joseph Lions Club for a luncheon and a Quiz Bowl Match.  This tradition goes all the way back to 1997.  The two teams vie for the traveling Golden Brain Award with the Bears leading the all time series 15 to 8.  This local friendly rivalry is a highlight for many of the Lions Club members as well as the Bears here at SJHS. The Academic Challenge Team traveled to Holland High School this past weekend to compete in the Holland Invitational Quiz Bowl Tournament.  With a 7-2 record the Bears qualified for the Michigan State Championship Tournament which will be held in the spring.  The Bears also compete in the local WSJM Southwestern Michigan League and stand 1-0 after a convincing win over Lakeshore.   Key Club News:  The Key Club participated in United Way's Leaf Raking event for senior citizens on Th

St. Joseph High School News 11/8/21 - 11/12/21 Parent Teacher Conferences: Parents,  I am contacting all of you to let you know we will be having our Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday 11/11/21.  Just a reminder that students will have 1/2 days of school on Thursday and Friday (11/11 & 11/12).  The format of conferences will be very similar to what we did last year.  We are planning to have virtual conferences and we will not be able to accommodate everyone in the time allotted for parent conferences this year.  So, we are going to prioritize parent conferences with those students who may be struggling in courses right now.  Any student with a C- or lower will be hearing from your teachers to set up a virtual meeting or phone conference prior to Thursday 11/11.  Parents, in order to conduct the virtual meeting with teachers you will need to log in and utilize your student's google account through SJ schools.  Having your student log you in and using their computer will lik
