St. Joseph High School News 12/16/19 - 12/20/19 Happy Holidays!  Wishing everyone a great holiday season!  Looking forward to an awesome last week before winter break and we will be excited to have everyone back to start off the new year on Jan. 6th.   SJHS Staff!  Hospitality Management Class: A big thanks to Four Winds Casino and Mr. Tim Adams for hosting the Hospitality Management class for our field trip last week.  Mr. Adams took us through the hotel, the "heart of the house", entertainment venues, and restaurants.   There was so much to learn from everyone we met. St. Joseph High School News 12/9/19 - 12/13/19 Hospitality and Culinary Class:  Chili Cook-Off On Friday, December 6, six teams from St. Joseph High School competed in the 11 th Annual High School Hospitality and Culinary Arts Student Summit and Cook-Off Competition at Lake Michigan College.  The teams had to make chili and cornbread using portable butane cook stoves. There were awards given for Best Tasting Chili, and Plating/Tablescape.  Four schools participated including Benton Harbor, Dowagiac, River Valley, and  St. Joseph. The SJHS team, Pumpkin Spice Girls took THIRD PLACE for Overall Taste and SECOND PLACE for their Tablescape!! Savannah Eldridge, Jenna Agens, Chloe Braswell.
