St. Joseph High School News 4/29/19 - 5/3/19 Science Olympiad: (Congrats!!) On Saturday, April 27 th , the St. Joseph High School Science Olympiad team competed in the state tournament at Michigan State University. The team came in 40 th out of the 60 top teams in the state. Evelyn Faust and Thomas Chen medaled in their chemistry lab event by taking 8 th place overall out of the 60 schools present. The team worked very hard throughout the year. We also want to thank all the volunteers that came forward to give their time and experience to help develop these fantastic kids. Average Joes - Robotics Update: (Congrats!!) After 10 qualification matches at the Detroit World Robotics Championship, the Average Joes ranked 2nd out of 68 teams on the Tesla field. They selected teams from Indiana, Massachusetts, and Japan to join their alliance and compete in the playoffs. The Joes lost in the quarterfinals after four close and well-fought matches (one
