Baking Club:

Many thanks for a special Maize Day event last week - A huge thanks to Maddie Haydon, owner of MaddieKakes Bake Shop, for teaching cookie decorating to SJHS students, thank you to Baking Club members for baking the cookies ahead of time, and thank you to the SJPS Foundation for supporting this incredible learning opportunity for our students.

Maddie is not only a phenomenal artist/baker but is also an amazing teacher.  This combination made for a very special class.  Every student left feeling successful and accomplished.

Hospitality Class:

CTE Hospitality/Culinary students made over 1000 crepes last Friday at the BRESA CTE Career Fair.  They spoke with freshmen from all over Berrien County about coming to SJHS for Culinary Arts in a few years.  This is an exciting industry to join!  Thank you Tyler Valentine, Audrey Miller, and Megan White for all your hard work.
