Rotary Student Opportunity:

2022-23 Rotary Student Program 'Dream Career Mentor Meeting' Application

Congratulations on taking the first step in exploring your Dream Career! Through the Rotary Student Program you will have the opportunity to talk directly with an experienced professional living your dream. In a reverse interview in-person Meeting or Google Meet, you will have the freedom to ask questions about classes you need to take, colleges you should consider and what 'a day in the life' truly looks like. You will also have the chance to explore whether your dream would truly be a good career fit, giving you the time to reinforce or reconsider the direction. First launched in 2007, the now global Rotary Student Program was designed to give students, like you, the opportunity to talk directly to an accomplished professional before college applications, vocational training and high school graduation. Participants have found the program to be profoundly impactful, eye opening and in some cases, life changing. Please keep in mind that a limited number of students will be accepted into the program this year and that while the application deadline is December 1, we encourage you to submit as early as possible to secure the best Dream Career Mentor fit. If your application is accepted, you should take this opportunity very seriously, preparing for meetings, being on time and following up with appropriate thank you correspondence. Thank you for your interest in the Rotary Student Program and good luck! For more information, visit www.rotarystudentprogram.org.

SAT/ACT Prep Opportunity:

Dear Parents (and Students),

NOW is the perfect opportunity to start (or continue) training for the SAT or ACT.   I cannot emphasize enough how critical it is to prepare for these exams. Colleges accept BOTH tests, so there are two keys to unlock the same door when it comes to college admission and college scholarship $.

I wanted to inform you that Dr. Carlin of drcarlinstestprep.com will be offering his popular SAT Course @ St. Joe High School beginning TUE NOV 8 @ 6:30 p.m. EST (Room TBD).  This is a 3-session, 7.5-hour course (see details below).  Students who miss a session can also make up a class via WEBINAR, so as to still participate in the full course.  Parents will also have access to any makeup webinar sessions.

REGISTER @ http://www.drcarlinstestprep.com/2022-nov-st-joseph-form.html

Dr. Carlin does an outstanding job presenting both the strategy and content of these complex exams at a fraction of the cost of bigger test prep companies, and he gets results.  This course can help students maximize their scores, opening the doors to more competitive colleges as well as bigger money scholarships.
