SJHS Veterans Breakfast:
Thank you to our Veterans for their service!
LSJ Hockey News:
LSJ Varsity has been ranked #1 in the state! While it's early in the season it is still a
great accomplishment. Come cheer on the Warriors this Friday as they take on Penn
HS at 6:15 at the Ice Box.
Math Prize Competition:
On October 9, 16 SJHS students took part in round 1 of the MI Mathematics Prize Competition. Five of those students have qualified for round 2, which will take place in
December. Congratulations to Jack Moody, Horacio Moreno, Joe Paine, Nolan Rich,
and Andreas Vetne.
Senior Parents:
Senior Parents

Interact Career Night:
We are expecting over 60 professionals including several displays, a physician
bringing a skeleton and a state trooper bringing Pitch, his police dog.
Key Club News:
Key Club had their Fall Rally this past Saturday at Dakota High School
in Macomb, MI. Over 300 Key Club members from all over Michigan attended.
The focus was sharing service ideas, practice leadership skills, learn about the
KFamily, and make connections. A big thanks to Erin Maddix, LTG for Division 8,
for helping plan and execute this amazing service leadership event.

On our half day last week, Key Club members volunteered to help elderly community
members by raking yards as part of the United Way Day of Action. Thanks Key
