**New this year - Community Resource Fair at conferences - various community agencies represented from dual credit/early middle college to a mock bedroom...from the health department to Kinexus/United Way.

Half Day Schedule Thurs./Fri.:
Friendly reminder we have ½ days on Thursday and Friday this week.  We will have hours 1-3 on Thursday and hours 4-6 on Fri. I have included the bell schedule here.

Congratulations:
Ryan Okonski, St. Joe's #1 singles player, was chosen Division Three Player of the Year by the Michigan High School Coaches Association.  The honor goes annually to each division's top senior tennis player. The selection also made Ryan a finalist for the State's Mr. Tennis award.  This year, at #1 singles, Ryan was a conference finalist, he was regional champion and was a semifinalist at the State Finals. Ryan is a four time first team all-state selection.  "Ryan has had an exceptional career at St. Joe. His tennis skills are obviously first rate but he has meant so much more to our program. He has set the bar in our program since he arrived in terms of preparation, mental toughness, and sportsmanship.  He has also given of himself unselfishly to help teammates to become the best they can be".

Business Bites:
Thank you to Dave Costas, Ashley and Kelsey of Silver Beach Pizza for speaking to our students at our "Business Bites" lunch on 10/25.  It was great to hear about how his business works & his career path as well as sample some of your delicious pizza! They also provided job applications - check in the guidance office if you are interested.

Our next "Business Bites" lunch will be on Thursday 11/15 with Larry Morrow of Horizon Bank.  He'll be talking about the banking industry & services provided. Students who attend will be provided pizza.

Drop Off and Pick Up at SJHS:
Attention parents dropping off and picking up students at SJHS.  With the time change and how dark it is in the morning, we would ask that you please take your time and be patient with the traffic in the mornings.  Please make sure you are dropping students on the Lakeview side of the building on the curb closest to the building so students are not walking across the parking lot and please wait for traffic to move forward and keep a single lane of traffic flowing out of the parking lot.  Let’s all work together to make this a safe process!!!

SJHS Musical
It's that time of year again...time for SJHS students to show off their musical talents in "Little Shop of Horrors"!
