Parents/Guardians –
Today your student attended a class meeting to learn about scheduling for 2018-19 school year.  Take some time to discuss the Course Selection Form options with your student.  Please be mindful of the courses they select and refer to our Course Description Book for further information.
DEADLINES:
FEB 13 by 3pm – HONOR/AP CLASS SIGN-UP ONLINE (only if not in a current Honors/AP class within that subject area).  Students can find links on itsLearning.
FEB 15 – 20 – TEACHER RECOMMENDATION WEEK (during class)
FEB 21 – MAR 2 – COURSE SELECTION ONLINE (Powerschool Registration, opens and closes at 3pm)
MAR 5 – COURSE SELECTION FORM DUE in Guidance Office (signed by parent/guardian)

Mrs. Campbell’s Class:
Students from Mrs. Campbell’s class took a field trip last week to SMCAA and packed 18 palettes equaling 576 boxes of food for families in need.  






Math Prize Competition:
Congratulations to senior Rajas Gupta for his achievement in the Michigan Mathematics Prize Competition. Rajas finished as the top student in Berrien County and one of the top 100 students in the state. For his efforts, he will be recognized at an awards banquet at Albion College in March.


Guidance Office News:
Lake Michigan College will be hosting a Financial Aid Night on Thursday, February 22nd from 6-8pm. It is a FAFSA completion night.  This event is FREE and open to all students whether they are planning to attend LMC or not.


CTE Opportunity:
Parents – any student interested in the Professional Health Care Academy (PHCA) for the 2018-19 school year…please see the below application.  The completed application is due to the Guidance Office by February 27.

Boys Golf Team:

Support the St. Joseph High School Boys Golf Team
Giveback night at Silver Beach Pizza on Tuesday, February, 13th!  
Please come out and help the golf team in their pursuit of new golf bags for the upcoming season.
Also, SJ Bear Lanyards are available for sale in the athletic office for $5.  Proceeds support SJHS Boys Golf.

St. Joseph High School News 2/3/20 - 2/7/20 February Bears of the Month:  February Bears of the Month! Congratulations to  Anna Vi & Joe Catania for being recognized as our February Bears of the Month at SJHS! Winterfest Spirit Week: (Next Week!!) Weekend Food Program: Mrs. Wagner and Mrs. Juengling started a weekend food program for 15 families at SJHS!  The food program is sponsored by a teacher and classroom each week. Within the first 2 weeks of the program the remainder of the school year had been scheduled and accounted for by a teacher and their students.  Wow! And Awesome!  SJHS Student Section:  The student section at the Girls and Boys basketball game the past Friday night brought their own version of ESPN to SJHS!!  Very fun and cool!  Literary Magazine News:  St. Joseph High School's 2019 literary magazine , revive has been selected to receive the rank of REALM First Class (the highest honor)

St. Joseph High School News 10/29/18 - 11/2/18 Bears of the Month: Congratulations to Nadia Judge and Noah Hayden for being recognized as our November Bears of the Month at SJHS!!! Veterans Breakfast 2018! SJHS Student Senate will be hosting a Veterans Breakfast on Wednesday, November 7th beginning at 8am in the Student Center at the high school.
