Successful Winter Fest Spirit Week!
Last week students showed their spirit during Winter Fest Week! On Friday, the Winter Fest Royalty were crowned at the Pep Assembly. Congratulations to Lane Everett and Nadia Judge – Prince & Princess! As well as Cade Schimulunas and Parker Johnson – King & Queen!

The Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball Teams both ended the week on Fri. night with victories over Lakeshore!!!





February Bears of the Month:
Congratulations to our February Bears of the Month – Ally Blomgren and Anthony Strickler! These outstanding students were selected by SJHS staff based on their character, leadership, academics, and citizenship!


ArtsBridge Program:
Seven SJHS students participated in the 2018 ArtsBridge Poetry Reading at First Presbyterian Church in Benton Harbor on Super Bowl Sunday.  ArtsBridge is a program to bridge the SJ and BH communities through the arts. These College Writing students---along with a diverse group of other writers--read their original poems aloud. Thank you to McKay Barfuss, Alison Koehler, Kaila Nichols, Katie Schmidt, Cameron Haynes, Molly Kate Johnson, and Eric Egelhaaf for representing SJHS so well and participating in this meaningful community event. 




Senior All Night Party Info:
We are in the beginning stages of planning.  Are you looking for a reason not to cook? Come support your SJ 2018 Senior class as we have planned the following give back night:

Interact Rotary Club News:
If any member of Interact Club is interested in going on the Dominican Republic trip this summer, the second informational meeting will be this Monday, January 29 at 6pm in the Student Center. If members attend, they will get 2 points for the semester.

Congratulations to  Anna Vi & Joe Catania for being recognized as our February Bears of the Month at SJHS! Winterfest Spirit Week: (Next Week!!) Weekend Food Program: Mrs. Wagner and Mrs. Juengling started a weekend food program for 15 families at SJHS!  The food program is sponsored by a teacher and classroom each week. Within the first 2 weeks of the program the remainder of the school year had been scheduled and accounted for by a teacher and their students.  Wow! And Awesome!  SJHS Student Section:  The student section at the Girls and Boys basketball game the past Friday night brought their own version of ESPN to SJHS!!  Very fun and cool!  Literary Magazine News:  St. Joseph High School's 2019 literary magazine , revive has been selected to receive the rank of REALM First Class (the highest honor)

St. Joseph High School News 10/29/18 - 11/2/18 Bears of the Month: Congratulations to Nadia Judge and Noah Hayden for being recognized as our November Bears of the Month at SJHS!!! Veterans Breakfast 2018! SJHS Student Senate will be hosting a Veterans Breakfast on Wednesday, November 7th beginning at 8am in the Student Center at the high school. Please join St. Joseph High School students in thanking our Veterans for their service with breakfast and entertainment. Veterans, family, and friends are welcome!
