English Dept. News:
Congratulations
go to our outstanding high school writers!
We
had 123 total awards in 9 categories, which include 7 Gold Keys, 38 Silver
Keys, and 78 Honorable Mentions.
The
High School English department would like to thank all levels of
teachers who have challenged their students with writing opportunities. Keep up
the great work!
SJBOP News:
The
SJBOP is planning a Give Back Night at Silver Beach Pizza on Wednesday, March 1
from 5-9:00 p.m. Silver Beach Pizza will donate 10% of their dine-in and
carry-out proceeds back to the St. Joe Band and Orchestra!

St. Joseph Football:
Parent/Player
meeting for all who are interested in playing football for St. Joseph in the
fall of 2017. Sunday February 12th 7 PM in the St. Joseph High School
Student Center. This meeting is for all incoming 7th to 12th graders.
This meeting will include general information and calendar information.
Senior All-Night Party:
Get
On The Bus….We’re Cruising to Chicago!
Parents of the
Class of 2017,
Plans are under way
for the annual Senior All-Night Party that immediately follows the graduation
ceremony. As in years past, we will
spend our night at Navy Pier. While at Navy
Pier, we will have time to ride the Ferris wheel, see an amazing hypnotist
show, and board a cruise ship for 2 hours to play games, eat and dance the
night away, all while sailing along the Chicago Skyline. Students will return to the high school at 6:00
am.
We can provide all
this to our students for $75 for the entire evening!!! This includes meals, charter buses, hypnotist
show, cruising, dancing, and a night they will never forget!
Our committee has
many fundraisers already planned to cover the remaining cost. We have the following dates scheduled so far,
so please help us spread the word!
· Tuesday, February 7 – Silver Beach Pizza – All Day
· Tuesday – February 22 – Fire & Ice – 5:00-8:00
· Thursday – April 13, 2017 – Lakehouse By Cravings – All
Day
To reserve your

We realize the cost
may be prohibitive for some and want EVERYONE to be able to attend. If you are able to donate extra money towards
a scholarship, we would greatly appreciate it.

Job Fair and Talent Showcase! March 27.
Lake Michigan College Mendel Center
· LMC Dual Credit

Students enrolled in classes that are eligible
for Lake Michigan College dual credit will receive information on Monday, Feb.
6. A Lake Michigan College advisor will visit each of the classes to
distribute the registration form and answer questions.

Registration deadline is March 6.
Prerequisites and testing requirements must be met to submit the registration
form.

to watch movie for a cause. Chose from Guardians of the Galaxy or Mean

rides need to be ready by 5:30. All $
