Seniors: Reminder the SJPS Foundation
Scholarships are due this Monday, February 27th by 3pm (no exceptions to
deadline).
Please turn in completed applications to Guidance Office.
· ATTENTION ALL JUNIOR PARENTS AND STUDENTS:
Please add the following 3 days of the Michigan Merit Exam to your calendar and plan on being present to
take the tests. This state assessment is required to graduate. The links following the dates below
will explain the test in detail.

· Dual Credit Info:
LMC Dual Credit
Ÿ Students enrolled in classes that are eligible
for Lake Michigan College dual credit will receive information on Monday, Feb.
6. A Lake Michigan College advisor will visit each of the classes to
distribute the registration form and answer questions.
Ÿ Registration deadline is
March 6.
Prerequisites and testing requirements must be met to submit the registration
form.

Choir News:
Choir solo and ensemble had several participants
last Saturday who performed exceptionally well!
Women’s Ensemble – Claire Dine, Maddie Schrock,

Hospitality Management Class News:
A huge thanks to Brady Cohen, General Manager of
the Inn at Harbor Shores for the tour on Friday. The Hospitality Management
students at St. Joseph High School enjoyed learning more about the industry and
tourism specific to our town.

Robotics News:
Congressmen
Fred Upton stopped by the Average Joes on Saturday afternoon, to see how the
Joes were coming along with their robot. As they were working on the
robot, the Congressman took a tour, asked questions of the team members, and
enjoyed watching the students work hard. The Joes will compete at their
home competition on March 10th and 11th at the St. Joe High School. Come
check out the event It's free to the public and it's cool to see
the many different robots that high school students create in 6 weeks.
