“Go Time”

A tremendous amount of time and effort has gone into the development and implementation of RTI (Response to Intervention) at SJHS.  This past Thurs. we ran our 1st “Go Time” session for 30 min during the school day and it could not have gone better for a first run.  Our goal is that this program will provide intervention time for students during the school day and also yield enrichment opportunities for those students not needing intervention and expose them to opportunities they may have not otherwise encountered.  Our staff was instrumental in the successful first run of “Go Time” and Mr. Haydon, our RTI coordinator, has been critical to the implementation of this program.  We will be running another session of “Go Time” this Thursday with plans to continue weekly “Go Time” sessions at least once per week and possibly expanding to multiple sessions per week.  The entire staff has collectively committed to “Go Time” and we believe in the value of this program for our students!

I would encourage you to ask your son or daughter about the program and have them show you the menu of sessions and options we are offering on itsLearning during “Go Time”.
