AP Testing Schedule:
AP Exams are around the corner, May 1-11, 2023.
Students who are registered please read for important info:
All day attendance is expected on exam days (report to classes before & after exams).
Plan your lunch accordingly if testing might interfere with our regular lunches – bring a sack lunch with you if needed.
Please save the attached test dates and locations.
NOTE: May 3rd is a late start day, but students taking AP English Lit & Composition will report at 7:30am.Students with approved accommodations through the College Board will be emailed a separate location to report to for testing.
Bring #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils are allowed), black or blue ink pens, acceptable calculators, rulers, extra batteries.
Dress in layers – sometimes the rooms can be cold or hot.
Bring water and snacks, as there are breaks in which you can safely consume them.
DO NOT bring cell phones or other electronic devices to the testing locations (this includes timers, smartwatches, watches with alarms).
If you no longer wish to take an exam that you registered for, please notify me by sending an email with the exam(s) you wish to cancel so I can cancel the exam and I can request a refund for you. If I am not notified, a refund will not be initiated.

2023 AP EXAM SCHEDULE & LOCATION LINK
SENIOR ACADEMIC AWARDS NIGHT:
Monday, May 15 @ 7pm, SJHS Auditorium
Seniors, if you have received an academic scholarship from a college, an academic institution, or organization to further your post-secondary pursuits, please submit a copy of the letter or award to the counseling office by May 1, 2023. For college scholarships awarded: please only submit the final college you will be attending in the fall.
NOTE: We cannot guarantee your award will be published in the Senior Academic Award program on May 15 if we do not receive your information by May 1.
EXTENSION DEADLINE: Our printing deadline has been given an extension, please turn in any senior academic awards to the counseling office by May 9, 3pm.
Family/Consumer Science Dept. News:
FCS students from Child Development, Foods and Nutrition and Culinary were invited to attend Say Yes to FCS day at Western Michigan University. Students had the opportunity to meet professors and current students in FCS related programs and tour campus! We were led on our tour by former SJHS and FCS student Ari Burgeson.
