AP Testing Schedule: 

AP Exams are around the corner, May 1-11, 2023.
Students who are registered please read for important info:

  • All day attendance is expected on exam days (report to classes before & after exams).

  • Plan your lunch accordingly if testing might interfere with our regular lunches – bring a sack lunch with you if needed.

  • Please save the attached test dates and locations. 
    NOTE: May 3rd is a late start day, but students taking AP English Lit & Composition will report at 7:30am.

  • Students with approved accommodations through the College Board will be emailed a separate location to report to for testing.

  • Bring #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils are allowed), black or blue ink pens, acceptable calculators, rulers, extra batteries.

  • Dress in layers – sometimes the rooms can be cold or hot.

  • Bring water and snacks, as there are breaks in which you can safely consume them.

  • DO NOT bring cell phones or other electronic devices to the testing locations (this includes timers, smartwatches, watches with alarms).

If you no longer wish to take an exam that you registered for, please notify me by sending an email with the exam(s) you wish to cancel so I can cancel the exam and I can request a refund for you.  If I am not notified, a refund will not be initiated.

SENIOR ACADEMIC AWARDS NIGHT:

Monday, May 15 @ 7pm, SJHS Auditorium

Seniors, if you have received an academic scholarship from a college, an academic institution, or organization to further your post-secondary pursuits, please submit a copy of the letter or award to the counseling office by May 1, 2023. For college scholarships awarded: please only submit the final college you will be attending in the fall.

NOTE: We cannot guarantee your award will be published in the Senior Academic Award program on May 15 if we do not receive your information by May 1.

Math Club News: 

Congratulations to the SJHS Math Club for their excellent finish in the Michigan Math League Competition. The competition consists of 6 rounds throughout the school year. This year SJHS finished 1st in their division and 10th overall in the state. 4 students placed in the top 50 individuals in the state: Braden Miesse, Turner Peterson, Max Warriner, and Grace Yuan.



Science Olympiad Team - State Results

Great job everyone!!! We went into State with a partial team, and everyone still gave a great effort! We had some nice top half+ placements!!!! Astronomy, Flight,  Scrambler, Forestry and Codebusters especially, plus solid finishes in other events. Let's learn from this competition and plan to hit next year with a full, cohesive team! Let's also celebrate our seniors, Riya and Ross, both with many years of SO dedication! Again, super proud of everyone!

Congratulations to  Anna Vi & Joe Catania for being recognized as our February Bears of the Month at SJHS! Winterfest Spirit Week: (Next Week!!) Weekend Food Program: Mrs. Wagner and Mrs. Juengling started a weekend food program for 15 families at SJHS!  The food program is sponsored by a teacher and classroom each week. Within the first 2 weeks of the program the remainder of the school year had been scheduled and accounted for by a teacher and their students.  Wow! And Awesome!  SJHS Student Section:  The student section at the Girls and Boys basketball game the past Friday night brought their own version of ESPN to SJHS!!  Very fun and cool!  Literary Magazine News:  St. Joseph High School's 2019 literary magazine , revive has been selected to receive the rank of REALM First Class (the highest honor)

St. Joseph High School News 10/29/18 - 11/2/18 Bears of the Month: Congratulations to Nadia Judge and Noah Hayden for being recognized as our November Bears of the Month at SJHS!!! Veterans Breakfast 2018! SJHS Student Senate will be hosting a Veterans Breakfast on Wednesday, November 7th beginning at 8am in the Student Center at the high school. Please join St. Joseph High School students in thanking our Veterans for their service with breakfast and entertainment. Veterans, family, and friends are welcome!
