Parents/Guardians of Class of 2022:
Your student had their final class meeting at SJHS today. They received information pertaining to end of year events and graduation. For planning purposes please see the End of Year Events link below AND make sure you ask your senior to share their packet with you (especially because 8 rain tickets were included and additional tickets will not be available to hand out).
In addition, students picked up their graduation cap & gown/graduation products last week from Jostens. If your student was unable to pick theirs up, please have them stop by the Guidance Office.
2022 End of Year Events Calendar
Semester Exams Schedule:
9th, 10th, and 11th grade students - start planning and preparing now for 2nd semester exams!
Schedule:
6/8 - 1st and 2nd Hour Exams - dismiss at 11am
6/9 - 3rd and 4th Hour Exams - dismiss at 11am
6/10 - 5th and 6th Hour Exams - dismiss at 11am
Summer Work Permits:
Students needing to obtain Work Permits for summer employment may download and print the correct form from
our website at: https://sjschools.org/st-joseph-public-schools/our-district-business-office?start=3
The order of completion is as follows: Student>Employer>School Official. Once the school official has
completed, the original form is returned to the employer and a copy is kept in the student's file.
Students may have these completed at the High School or at Upton Middle School up through June 24th.
Beginning Monday June 27th they will need to visit our Administration Building to have them completed. The
student MUST be in attendance to have the form completed.

Student Senate:
Student Senate Elections 2022-2023. Students, it is time to sign-up for Student Senate representatives
for next school year. Please sign-up on the sheets posted to the window outside the attendance office.
You will also need to pick up a blue signature sheet.
All candidates must obtain 3 staff signatures in support of their candidacy. Signature sheets are due to
Mrs. Wallace (in room M705) by Wednesday, June 1st. Elections will occur Friday, June 3rd.
