Veterans Breakfast:

Veterans Breakfast 2021!

Academic Challenge Team:

Recently the Academic Challenge Team was entertained by the St. Joseph Lions Club for a luncheon and a Quiz Bowl Match.  This tradition goes all the way back to 1997.  The two teams vie for the traveling Golden Brain Award with the Bears leading the all time series 15 to 8.  This local friendly rivalry is a highlight for many of the Lions Club members as well as the Bears here at SJHS.

The Academic Challenge Team traveled to Holland High School this past weekend to compete in the Holland Invitational Quiz Bowl Tournament.  With a 7-2 record the Bears qualified for the Michigan State Championship Tournament which will be held in the spring.  The Bears also compete in the local WSJM Southwestern Michigan League and stand 1-0 after a convincing win over Lakeshore.

Key Club News:

The Key Club participated in United Way's Leaf Raking event for senior citizens on Thursday!  It was a very cold and windy day for raking but these members would not let that stop them!  Thank you for all your service and leadership.
