Congratulations Kevin Guzzo - Athletic Director

Mr. Guzzo was recently recognized for his outstanding work as the St. Joseph High School Athletic

Director and was 1 of 3 to receive the Al Bush Award this year across the state of Michigan.  Please see

Key Club News: 

The Key Club hosted a successful blood drive last week, collecting 25 pints and exceeding our goal!  A

big thanks to our chairperson, senior Katie Hokanson, and the Kiwanians for helping supervise the

event.



Foods and Nutrition Class News: 

The Foods and Nutrition students had a great week making their Thanksgiving feasts.  This year they

tried spatchcocking the turkeys and they were delicious!




Ski Club News: 

Ski club will not be offering bus transportation this year for the ski club, however students still have the

opportunity to purchase lift tickets and passes for reduced student pricing.  Please see the link for more

Band News: 

Congratulations to Peyton Meynard (1st Chair Clarinet) and Dylan Walsh (2nd Chair Oboe) for

representing our school in MSBOA's District 6 All Star Band.  The students auditioned to get into this

band with students from Cass, Van Buren, and Berrien County Band Programs, and we accepted.  The

All Star Band's concert is on November 19th at 7pm in Paw Paw High School's Auditorium.

Congratulations Dylan and Peyton, we are proud of you.

Early/Middle College program.

Tuition, books, and fees are provided at no cost to students and families.

SJHS Position - Lunch Supervisor

High School Lunch Supervisor Position

 

We are looking for a High School Lunch Supervisor.   Monday - Friday, approximately 10 hours

Wonderland Toy Store: 

The Wonderland Toy Store is an event sponsored by Mosaic CCDA (501c3) of Benton

Harbor. The Toy Store offers a one time shopping event for those who are struggling to

make ends meet in Berrien County.  Mosaic CCDA partnering with The Interact Club of

SJ/BH and other surrounding resources and businesses allows for families to shop with

dignity by purchasing brand new toys at 10% of the cost in an everyday store.  Each SJPS

building will have a box in their entrance for toy donations until December 3rd.

All Donations stay in Berrien County.

Winter sports practices have started and we are looking forward to watching our student athletes
