Graduation Information:
Parents and students – A letter was sent home by mail last week with all kinds of information related to the next few weeks for Seniors as well as some very important information regarding graduation.  Please make sure you take a moment to look over the information.  If you need another copy or access to the information you can also find this letter on the HS webpage under the scrolling announcements. 

Teacher Appreciation Week:
Teacher appreciation week was this past week.  We were able to get the staff together on a couple different occasions to say thank you.  Here they are on Wed. morning last week enjoying bagels and bonding and just having a few laughs before the day began.  This is an awesome collection of teachers!




Student News: (Congratulations)
By now you may have heard that one of your students at Saint Joseph High School, Taylor Huie, will be a recipient of a Student Excellence Award at the 2017 Science Innovation Hall of Fame Awards Gala & Dinner hosted at the Air Zoo the evening of Saturday, May 13.  We were very impressed with Taylor’s approach to learning as well as her volunteer work in the community, and are looking forward to honoring her for her great work!

Math Club News:
Several Math Club students recently competed in the international Purple Comet Math Meet.  The team of Ryan Erikson, Rajas Gupta, Erik Mattfolk, and Hudson Wellin ended up in the 89th percentile of teams from similarly sized schools.  Congratulations for earning St. Joe’s highest finish ever in the competition!

St. Joseph Football News:
Don’t know what to do for dinner?  We have the answer.  Come to Coaches Bar and Grille on Tuesday May 9th for the St. Joseph Football Give Back Night.  Come enjoy a good meal and a portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the St. Joseph Football Program.  No flyers or tickets needed.  Just show up, relax and help support the Bears.

St. Joseph High School News 2/3/20 - 2/7/20 February Bears of the Month:  February Bears of the Month! Congratulations to  Anna Vi & Joe Catania for being recognized as our February Bears of the Month at SJHS! Winterfest Spirit Week: (Next Week!!) Weekend Food Program: Mrs. Wagner and Mrs. Juengling started a weekend food program for 15 families at SJHS!  The food program is sponsored by a teacher and classroom each week. Within the first 2 weeks of the program the remainder of the school year had been scheduled and accounted for by a teacher and their students.  Wow! And Awesome!  SJHS Student Section:  The student section at the Girls and Boys basketball game the past Friday night brought their own version of ESPN to SJHS!!  Very fun and cool!  Literary Magazine News:  St. Joseph High School's 2019 literary magazine , revive has been selected to receive the rank of REALM First Class (the highest honor)

St. Joseph High School News 10/29/18 - 11/2/18 Bears of the Month: Congratulations to Nadia Judge and Noah Hayden for being recognized as our November Bears of the Month at SJHS!!! Veterans Breakfast 2018! SJHS Student Senate will be hosting a Veterans Breakfast on Wednesday, November 7th beginning at 8am in the Student Center at the high school. Please join St. Joseph High School students in thanking our Veterans for their service with breakfast and entertainment. Veterans, family, and friends are welcome!
