Rotary Exchange Student:
We
currently have a really nice young man from Hungary who attends SJHS and lives
with Dick Sammis as a Rotary Exchange Student. Rotary’s program policy requires
that the student live with two different families while staying here.
He
loved playing football, has made many friends and is here to gain a better
understanding of the U.S – he’s really delightful.
We
have been asked by Rotary Exchange to inquire about a host family for second
semester.

Robotics News:
It is my honor to congratulate Team #3620, Average Joes, as a winner
in the FIRST video contest!
Please extend our congrats to the team. Specifically, we took notice
of:
•
Video quality
•
Various use of Bosch in the video
•
Close shots
•
Interviews
•
Many roles beyond engineering
•
Relationships
• Showing the mission and
acronym of FIRST
John, this list is long because we were greatly impressed and moved by
the video. In fact, we all agreed that this was the best submission. For this
reason we want to let you know that Team #3620 will be receiving $2500 in tools
as well as a new Dremel 3D printer. No need to choose between the two.
Our
President, Mike Mansuetti, was so impressed that he urged us to share this
internally and externally. I will follow up with you more regarding our ability
to do that. For now, please share our enthusiasm with your team! Well done!!
