Interact Club – Dominican Republic Trip
Interact
Club Members and Parents,
We
will be holding our first information session on the 2017 Interact Club
Trip to the Dominican Republic on Monday, November 28, 7-8 pm, at the Rose
Center, 301 Wayne
Street,
St. Joseph.
If
you are interested in participating in the July 15-22 trip or would
simply like to learn more about the Dominican Republic and the need for clean
water, we will be sharing important information at the meeting. This will be
the first of two meetings we will hold this year. Leading the meeting, will be Interact
Club International Directors, Grace Adams and Will McCoy, who will be sharing a
video on the 2016 trip, reviewing the itinerary, providing handouts on what to
expect and what to pack and answering questions of both parents and students.
Trip
Chaperones will be on hand to answer questions as well, including myself and
SWM Interact Clubs Lead Advisor, Maria Kibler. Since the deadline for deposits
and earning enough points to be eligible will be end of December, we encourage
everyone interested in the Dominican Republic to attend. While the trip is only
open to Interact Club Members entering their Junior through graduation years of
high school (current sophomores-seniors), all members are welcome to attend.
If
you have any questions prior to the meeting, please contact SJ Interact Club
Advisor and Lead DR 2017 Chaperon, Jackie Huie via text 269.930.1325.
