Spring 2015 MSTEP Results Being Sent Home

Happy New Year!

We are in the process of sending home the results to the 2015 MSTEP that was given in March 2015 to the current senior class.  You should receive these by January 15, 2016.

In the 2014-15 school year, the state of Michigan replaced the 44-year-old MEAP test with the new Michigan Student Test of Educational Progress.  It is aligned to Michigan's challenging learning standards and is administered each spring to the current 11th graders.

The scores you receive will report how your student did on the ACT WorkKeys, and the M-STEP in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies.  In addition, it will also review ACT scores from last spring. Beginning in the spring of 2016, the SAT will be replacing the ACT as the college entrance exam.

If you have questions on these results, or you do not receive them, please contact me at any time.  For more information on M-STEP, please visit www.mi.gov/mstep
