Winter Spirit Days: 




Key Club: 

Key Club hosted our first Divisional of the year last week!  40 Key Club members from South Haven, Lakeshore, Bridgman, and SJ came together to make and decorate cookies for emergency responders. Students took the trays back to their home communities and delivered them to fire stations, police departments, and hospitals.  Special thanks to Clara Berry, our LTG for Division 8 for organizing this event! 




Baking Club: 

The Baking Club made peppermint fudge for their December meeting!

Thanks chairs, Ashley Penner and Laynie Nolte for organizing!

 



All State Honors Orchestra:

The results are in!  Congratulations to two members of the SJHS orchestra who made it into this year’s All State Honors Orchestra.  Nearly 2700 musicians from the state auditioned in October for a position and these are the only two students that made it from district 6.

 

The All State Honors Orchestra will perform on January 21, 2023 at the Michigan Music Conference held in Grand Rapids, MI.

New vape language, effective immediately at SJHS.  Information was shared with students and parents last week.  Please take a few minutes to have a discussion with your student and make sure these items are not in their possession or coming to school.

Congratulations to  Anna Vi & Joe Catania for being recognized as our February Bears of the Month at SJHS! Winterfest Spirit Week: (Next Week!!) Weekend Food Program: Mrs. Wagner and Mrs. Juengling started a weekend food program for 15 families at SJHS!  The food program is sponsored by a teacher and classroom each week. Within the first 2 weeks of the program the remainder of the school year had been scheduled and accounted for by a teacher and their students.  Wow! And Awesome!  SJHS Student Section:  The student section at the Girls and Boys basketball game the past Friday night brought their own version of ESPN to SJHS!!  Very fun and cool!  Literary Magazine News:  St. Joseph High School's 2019 literary magazine , revive has been selected to receive the rank of REALM First Class (the highest honor)

St. Joseph High School News 10/29/18 - 11/2/18 Bears of the Month: Congratulations to Nadia Judge and Noah Hayden for being recognized as our November Bears of the Month at SJHS!!! Veterans Breakfast 2018! SJHS Student Senate will be hosting a Veterans Breakfast on Wednesday, November 7th beginning at 8am in the Student Center at the high school. Please join St. Joseph High School students in thanking our Veterans for their service with breakfast and entertainment. Veterans, family, and friends are welcome!
