Dual Credit Application: Deadline Extended

Parents and Students,

Because of some inconsistency with Berrien County School District registration dates with Lake

Michigan College, we have collaborated with Lake Michigan College and have agreed to extend our

registration deadline at SJHS for Dual Credit courses to 3pm on Thursday September 23rd.  Forms will

be turned into the SJHS guidance office.

There will be no exceptions to this new deadline!

In order to qualify for Dual Credit you must have completed the following:

  • Meet the prerequisites for the Dual Credit course.

  • Complete the Direct Credit form and have all signatures required.

  • Take the Accuplacer test at Lake Michigan College if required.  If testing is needed: - New students to Dual Credit (students that have not taken an LMC course in the past) need to complete the Online Application (also listed on the registration form): https://mylmc.force.com/apply

  • -  If they need to test, students will need to schedule an appointment via email to Assessment Center assessmentcenter@lakemichigancollege.edu

  • When scheduling their appointment, the student needs to specify which test(s) they need (prerequisites are listed on the documents they received last week during LMC's presentations in the dual credit eligible classrooms)

If you have any questions, please contact your guidance counselor at SJHS.

Thanks

Mr. Blomgren
