Back to School Night:
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT for PARENTS
TONIGHT - MONDAY, SEPT. 9
6-8pm @ SJHS
We will NOT be providing hard-copy schedules again this year,
so make sure to verify your student’s schedule on PowerSchool prior to arrival.
The building will open at at 6pm if you'd like to tour and explore the building during this time.
Please report to your student’s first hour class by 6:20pm.
Announcements will take place at 6:25pm.

Yearbook Information:
2018-2019 yearbook update:
The Class of 2019 (graduated seniors) can have their books picked up in the front office during the school day.
Other unclaimed books will be delivered during school this week.
Extra 2018-2019 yearbooks are available for $70. See Mrs. Essig or Mrs. Hunter for a copy. Checks to SJHS Yearbook.
The 2019-2020 yearbook will be on sale for the first time at Back to School Night. Forms will also be available in school.

SJHS Football Jersey Swap:
Varsity football players were asked to share their jersey with teacher/staff member who has had a
positive impact on them during their educational career at SJPS and invite them to the game this past
Friday to be recognized. Good turnout and a great way to say thank you to our teachers!

Lori’s Place - Peer Support Group:
If you have a child who has experienced a significant death in their life and you would like for them
to participate in the Lory’s Place peer support grief group, please contact their counselor, including
the name of the person who died, the cause and date of the death, and their relationship to your
child/children.
Groups meet monthly beginning in October.
SJHS Cheerleaders - Fundraiser
Enjoy great food with your family and friends during our St. Joe Cheer Fundraiser Night at Zoup! in
downtown St. Joseph (119 Main Street, St. Joseph). Present the voucher when ordering and up to
25% of the sales during the event will go directly to the group.

College Rep Visits - for Jr.’s and Sr’s
Juniors & Seniors can sign up for College Rep Visits at SJHS. Students can sign up in Guidance OR
