Guidance Dept. News:
· LMC Dual Credit Registration
Information for Fall 2017:
Students enrolled in classes
that are eligible for Lake Michigan College Dual Credit received information on
September 20.
A Lake Michigan College
representative distributed the registration form and guidelines.
Registration deadline has been extended to October 6, 2017.
Prerequisites
and testing requirements must be met
prior to submitting the registration form to the Guidance Office.
(Teacher
signatures and test scores must be included with form.)

Academic Letter
Awards Program:
Student
letters and parent letters were sent out last week for those students who
earned an academic letter award for last school year. Students will be recognized at our Academic
Letter Award Program, which is scheduled for Oct. 23rd at 7pm in the
SJHS Auditorium.
Wind-Up News:
Once
again, some of our Wind-Up staffers are featured in the Herald-Palladium.
Seniors Lyndsay White wrote about the solar eclipse, and senior Danielle
Williams researched National Geographic student expeditions. Senior Nick Moen’s
art is also displayed.

Key Club News:

It was so HOT this past weekend (9/23 and 9/24) but these dedicated
Key Club members cleaned Cleveland Avenue with enthusiasm! Also, thanks to the
Dressander family for the popsicles!

The 2nd annual Kiwanis Family Fall Festival was a
success! Berrien County foster families enjoyed bounce houses,
carnival games, and lunch. So fun! A huge thanks to the volunteers from
Kiwanis, SJ Key Club, LHS Key Club, Bridgman Key Club, and Upton Builders Club!

survivors are welcome to meet in the north-east corner of the stadium at
6:20pm. The SJHS cheerleaders will lead the survivors around the track at
