Team Up Against Cancer
Athletes, fans, and community members are encouraged to “Team Up Against Cancer” in southwest Michigan. The annual event is a community fundraiser event dedicated to help those fighting cancer, provide information to increase awareness and prevention of cancer, and celebrate cancer survivors.

One of the most important ways to support “Team Up Against Cancer” is by purchasing apparel available at Lazer Graphics.  Student Senate will also be selling apparel at the high school lunches September 18th through September 22nd. All proceeds will go to assist “local” cancer patients in southwest Michigan and will be distributed to Berrien County Cancer Services and the Marie Yeager Cancer Center. Purchase of a t-shirt or hoodie will also admit the wearer into all high school sporting events at St. Joseph High School during the week of October 2nd through the 6th.

The “Team Up Against Cancer” main event will be held on Friday, October 6th during the St. Joseph High School varsity homecoming football game at Dickinson Stadium as they play the Niles Vikings. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. with local vendors offering a variety of pregame food with 25 percent of the sales to benefit our area cancer support organizations.
