Key Club News:
The
Blood Drive on Thursday was very successful! We beat our goal and
collected 37 pints. Thanks to everyone who donated and saved 3 lives
each! And also a huge thanks to the Key Clubbers who worked the drive and

2019 England, Ireland, and Wales Literary Tour Informational Meeting
Wednesday, May 3rd @ 6:30 p.m. Room E503
Parents
of current 8th, 9th, and 10th grade students--
The
SJHS English department is offering an extraordinary learning opportunity for
our students—a British Isles literary tour. In June of 2019, the SJHS British
Literature teachers, along with EF educational tours, will accompany a small
group of 12-18 students to Ireland, England, and Wales. During our 9-day
excursion, students will explore the countryside and cities that inspired
Swift, Austen, Shakespeare and many more British authors we study in our
classrooms.
Mark
your calendars for the informational meeting on Wednesday, May 3rd at 6:30 p.m.
in room E503. Here, Mrs. Becker will provide information about the itinerary,
answer questions, and discuss costs and fundraising opportunities. If
you’re unable to attend the meeting, please contact Tracy Becker at tbecker@sjschools.org. Any other questions can also be
directed to tbecker@sjschools.org.
Space
on the trip will be limited, so make sure to reserve your student's spot
early!
