February Bears of the Month!

Congratulations to Kiley Hyaden & Breanne Pratley for being recognized as our February Bears of the Month at SJHS!





SJHS Literary Magazine News: 

Gut Feelings, the 2022 Literary Magazine for St. Joseph High School, earned an EXCELLENT ranking in the Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) Contest, sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE).

Schools in 42 states and five countries nominated 262 student magazines. SJHS was one of seven high schools in the state of Michigan to earn an award. The magazine includes original art and writing pieces from St. Joseph High School students in the 21-22 school year.

The literary magazine editor was Sophie Confer (SJHS '22). The adviser was Mrs. Joyce Hunter.

2023 Senior After Grad Party

Plans are currently in the works to provide the 2023 Seniors a fun and safe

alternative for them after Commencement on Sunday, June 4, 2023. One last big

hurrah to hang out with their graduating class! Many more details will be

forthcoming but we wanted to let you know that the Online Payment is now open

for the students “ticket” to the event. The charge this year is $100 per student

but the experience and memories are priceless. If you have financial difficulties

please let your student’s guidance counselor know as we want all 2023 Seniors to

attend!

If you have signed up to help via the Google form you will be contacted soon by a

committee chair.
