April 13 - Testing Only

SAT w/ Essay, 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (approx) - Juniors

Know up to 4 colleges to send scores for free

Dismissed to go home after testing is completed

PSAT 9/10, 7:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. - Freshmen/Sophomores

Rooms will be communicated in school

 

April 14 - Blue Day

Workkeys, 7:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. (approx) - Juniors

Lunch & rest of school day as scheduled 

April 15 - Maize Day

MSTEP, 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. AND 12:45 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. - Juniors

AM Testing - Last names A-K.  Finish rest of day as scheduled

PM Testing L-Z.  Come when testing starts at 12:45pm. 

Rooms will be communicated in school.

Tech Fest Entry Deadline Extended:

Due to the hybrid and testing schedules this week and next, the Tech Fest deadline has been extended to April 23rd.  Please help us spread the word and encourage your students to enter their projects!

St. Joseph Lit Magazine News: 

The 2020 Literary Magazine, recollect, earned an EXCELLENT rating from the 2020 NCTE Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) program. Editors were Amy Paine, Zach Kreiner, and Aeryn Hart. The first ever all-color, online magazine includes art and writing from over 50 SJHS students. HOPE is our theme for April  

Welcome back!  We hope that your family had a wonderful break and are ready for the last marking period.  As we start back on a hybrid schedule that includes standardized testing, we are hopeful for increased health & wellness moving into Spring.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month - check out resources through the

 Child Advocacy Center of Southwest Michigan including their month long HIKE-4-HEALING fundraiser!

   

What’s Happening at School:

 

At the HS, applications are accepted until 4/23/21 for the Dave Leonard “Difference Maker” Scholarship  - available to  seniors who have received Special Education services or credit in an Academic Achievement class..

 

At Upton & the HS, applications are now available for Camp Hope (Mike Wagner Memorial).  

Open to current 7-11 graders.  Join in the fun this August - a weekend with lots of fun, self-care practices & positive mental health practices.
