Remote Learning Day - Fri. Sept. 18th - Recap
Wanted to say thank you to all the parents and the students for great participation in our first remote
learning day this past Friday, September 18th. We had 97% attendance for the morning and the
sessions. Significant improvement from the spring and we are extremely proud of the progress we have
made in connecting with students in the remote setting. This type of participation will serve us well in
the event we have to move into remote learning at some point during this school year. Great Job!
Back to School Night Information
Parents, if you missed our virtual back to school night on Mon. 9/14, it’s ok, you still have the option to
meet and view your student’s teachers remotely. Please use the following link to see each of your
student’s teachers and their recorded message to you and the students.

Parents - Dropping off Things at School
Parents, it’s not uncommon for students to forget things at home or need something during the day,
however we are restricting visitors and limiting the number of folks we have coming in and out of the
building during the school day due to Covid and safety precautions. Please help us with this parents, if
the students forget something they will make it through the day without it, and I’m thinking they likely
won’t forget again. Please be assured that if it is lunch or food they forgot we have extra lunches
prepared and the lunch/breakfast program is federally funded and free at this time, so no worries on
food.
With that being said, if it is an emergency and you need to come up, by all means please stop by and see us.
Thanks,
Mr. Blomgren
First Late Start of the School Year - Wed. 9/23
Parents and students, our first late start of the school year will be this Wed. 9/23. Teachers will be
meeting in professional development teams, planning, and coordinating upcoming events and
schedules. Buses and doors for high school will all run one hour later than normal. Please be advised
that the doors for the high school will not open until 8:15am on these days. Plan accordingly.
Thanks,
Mr. Blomgren
Home Athletic Events
Students and parents, we have hosted a few home athletic events up to this point. Need to make sure we
are ALL continuing to follow the Executive Order and the MHSAA guidelines with respect to hosting
these events, number of fans (tickets) allowed, and PPE so that we may continue to have our athletic
teams compete in their scheduled events. Your attention and assistance with meeting these guidelines is
essential and necessary so that we may continue to see our student athletes be allowed to participate.
