E-Sports:
Our inaugural SW MI HS Esports Season has come to a close, and you are invited to spectate the
Championship matches on Thursday, December 5th starting at 4pm at the Grand Upton Hall in the
Mendel Center at LMC.  There is no cost to attend, and concessions will be available to purchase.
SJHS team, "Team Solid" currently in 2nd place in our division would love to have your support.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Business Bites:
Jordan Brewer joined us for Business Bites on Thursday 11/21 during GO time.  Jordan, a SJHS 2016 graduate, is now a professional baseball player with the Houston Astros system. He was drafted in 2019 from the University of Michigan where he was the Big Ten Conference Player of the Year.  He talked to the students about his career path and experiences on this journey.

Attention Seniors! If you missed the order day to turn in your cap and gown and other graduation products order form, the deadline has been extended until Friday, December 6th!  You have 3 options to place your order: Turn your order in to Mrs. Koch in the Guidance office, place your order online at www.jostens.com or place your order over the phone at 1-800-JOSTENS (567-8367) no later than Friday, December 6th.  Please do not miss this final deadline.

Baking Club: 
The Baking Club chairs, Isabella Sliter and Elise Voglewede, hosted an exciting Cupcake Wars after
school this week!  The beautiful and delicious Pumpkin Cupcakes were the winners!


Hospitality Management Class: 
Hospitality Management Class took a tour of the Painted Turtle Bed and Breakfast this week!
Thanks so much to owner, Christine Shull, for hosting us and talking with the students about being an
entrepreneur.  What a beautiful B+B!

HOSA Club:
This year Hosa only qualified the top 6 in each competition as finalists (last year it was the top 10).
We actually had 7 qualify for state out of 12 total.



SJHS Athletics:
Winter sports teams have begun practices! We are looking forward to the winter season and our
student athletes and coaches representing SJHS and our community!
