Euchre Club:
SJHS students have created a Euchre Club. The group meets on Tuesdays right after school in room
M705 until 4pm. All are welcome! This past week students worked together to teach three brand new
Euchre players!
Veterans Breakfast:
SJHS Student Senate will be hosting a Veterans Breakfast on Wednesday, November 7th beginning at 8am in the Student Center at the high school. Please join St. Joseph High School students in thanking our Veterans for their service with breakfast and entertainment. Veterans, family, and friends are welcome! Band News:
On Tuesday, Sept 25th the Donald Sinta Saxophone Quartet is coming to perform for our Upton Band
students and HS band students. They will be at Upton for 3rd hour and then proceed to the High
School to perform for 5th hour Band. This group won first place at the world renowned 2018
Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition which is held on the campus of Notre Dame every
year in May.
Entrepreneurship Luncheon:
The Women’s Business Center of Cornerstone Alliance Annual Celebration of Entrepreneurship was
last week on 9/20. Below is a photo of students who attended the luncheon and had the opportunity
to hear speakers from LMC, Berrien RESA CTE program, and Whirlpool. Special thanks to
Cornerstone Alliance for the invitation!
Yoga Club News:
The yoga club meets every Wednesday from 3:15-4:15 at Yoga Life.
The club is sponsored by the Mike Wagner Memorial, so that allows it to be free for all SJHS students.
Any questions, please see Mrs. Wagner in the Guidance office.

The 2017-2018 yearbook has been distributed. Extras are still available for $70. Email jhunter@sjschools.org.
The 2018-2019 order form is now available, and an email from our published Herff Jones will be sent out soon. Reserve before Dec. 1 to save money!
