St. Joseph High School Blog  1/30/17 - 2/3/17 NHS Tutoring: Since we are beginning a new semester this week, we will not be having NHS tutoring this week.  We will plan to resume the after school tutoring sessions again next week. BYOD @ SJHS:   As the second semester begins, please remember that St. Joseph High School is a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) school.  Students are encouraged to bring a laptop computer to school with them daily to support learning activities in the classroom.  Devices will be used frequently , so it is strongly recommended that all students come prepared with a device or plan for securing a device to use this semester.  (A phone is not recommended as a BYOD solution.)  For students who do not have a device to bring from home, SJHS has an affordable  Chromebook Rental Program.   If students are looking for options to purchase a device, SJHS has a partnership with Best Buy to offer special...

St. Joseph High School Blog  1/23/17 - 1/27/17 Rewards School: MDE released School Score Cards on Friday this past week for 2016. There are 219 schools that met the  Reward Schools  criteria for 2015-16. Schools identified, as Reward Schools are those that did not receive a red scorecard and have achieved on or more of the following distinctions: SJHS is a Reward School!!!! •          Beating the Odds by outperforming the school’s predicted ranking and/or similar schools. SJHS Blog  1/16/17 - 1/20/17  Semester Exams: (Next Week) Reminder that semester exams are quickly approaching.   We want to see all students finish 1 st semester strong and go into their exams with confidence.   Planning for exams should start now and students will be better prepared if they put a little study time in each night leading up to exams on Jan. 25 th -27 th .   School will dismiss at 11am each day of exams. Wed. Jan. 25 th – 1 st and 2 nd Hour Exams Thurs. Jan. 26 th – 3 rd and 4 th Hour Exams Fri.
