The graduation and baccalaureate ceremonies were a success!  We had great weather on Sunday evening and the Class of 2016 was awarded their diplomas!  A special thanks to the SJPS Board of Education and the SJPS Foundation!  Good Luck to the class of 2016 as they become the newest alumni of SJHS!

English Dept. News:
Students taking Hon Eng 10 and Hon Eng 11 next year should visit the Media Center this week (no later than June 10) to get their summer reading books and assignments.   For questions regarding Honors English 10, see Mr. Radenbaugh.  For questions regarding Honors English 11, see Mrs. Culver.

Robotics – Average Joe’s
The Average Joe's attended the Southwest Michigan Mini Maker Faire along with 13 other robotics teams of various age levels this past weekend.  Teams from FIRST LEGO league (FLL), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) all attended to promote school robotics and STEM at the event.  The St. Joe team also provided the field and set up for the robotics display.

In the picture, Team 3620 member Heather Leany, is showing two girls how to drive the robot.  The picture was taken from an airborne drone, operated by team member Noah Brooks, who also operated a "Fly a Drone" tent.
