Robotics – Average Joe’s
The
Average Joe's attended the Southwest Michigan Mini Maker Faire along with 13
other robotics teams of various age levels this past weekend. Teams from
FIRST LEGO league (FLL), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), and FIRST Robotics
Competition (FRC) all attended to promote school robotics and STEM at the
event. The St. Joe team also provided the field and set up for the
robotics display.
In the picture,
Team 3620 member Heather Leany, is showing two girls how to drive the
robot. The picture was taken from an airborne drone, operated by team
member Noah Brooks, who also operated a "Fly a Drone" tent.
