NHS
Any Sophomores
and Juniors who are interested in applying for membership to the EP Clarke
chapter of National Honor Society, should stop by Ms. Nic’s room to pick up an
application. Students must have a minimum of a 3.3 cumulative unweighted
GPA to be eligible for NHS. Applications can also be downloaded at the

St. Joseph Public Schools Foundation Announces Photo Contest
The St. Joseph
Public Schools Foundation is once again sponsoring a photo contest for all SJPS
students and their families. Photos should reflect life at school, academics,
arts, athletics and extra-curricular activities and should be taken between
April 2015 and March 2016. Only one entry is allowed per
person. Entries may be submitted now until March 18 at sjpsfoundation@sjschools.org.
The top 30
entries will be posted March 24 - April 8, 2016 at Dairy Queen on Niles Avenue,
and Pater True Value on M-139 in St. Joseph. Online voting will also be
conducted on www.stjosephpublicschoolsfoundation.org. The top 10 vote-getting photos
will be announced on April 15th. The winner receives the
cover photo on the 2016/2017 SJPS Calendar, a Season Sports Pass, $25 gift
certificate to Silver Beach Pizza and 2 tickets to Encore 2016. A Season
Sports Pass will also be awarded to the 10 pictures that get the most public votes.

AP TESTING
AP testing will be the weeks of May 2-6 and
May 9-13. Each exam costs $92, with a non-refundable $15 deposit.
Registration
and payment will begin Feb. 29 and close March 28. Any test ordered after March
28 will incur a $55 late fee.
Additional
information is going home with all students who are currently in AP classes at
the high school.

the Berrien County 5th Year Early Middle College information session scheduled
on the LMC Napier campus was cancelled due to inclement weather. After
conferring with the LMC staff, we have decided to direct students/parents/staff

ACE Mentor Program
The ACE Mentor Program meeting was cancelled last Wednesday due
to inclement weather. We have rescheduled the meeting for this Wednesday, March
2:

Join us March 2 at 3:15 pm in the high school media center
for an informational meeting.
ACE Mentor Program is a free six week after-school program
facilitated by local professionals, giving students hands-on experiences in the
design and construction industry.
