St. Joseph High School News 1/21/19 - 1/25/19 Staff vs. Students Basketball Game: Students beat the staff 50 to 49. Screenagers Event at SJHS: Parents and students K-12, please join us February 11 from 6:30-8:30 pm in the St Joseph High School’s John and Dede Howard auditorium for a viewing of Screenagers. Screenagers is an award-winning film that depicts the challenging struggles that families have over social media, video games and academics. The film offers solutions on how we can help our kids navigate the digital world. After viewing the film, we have a county expert, Joe Rommel, who will give additional updates on current social media trends and suggestions for parents on setting boundaries with their students’ social media use. Refreshments will be available, along with free childcare offered by SJHS National Honor Society student group. St. Joseph High School News 10/8/18 - 10/12/18 SJPS Foundation Fundraiser: Guidance Office News: SJHS counseling department will be offering a free FAFSA completion session for seniors and their parents. Financial aid experts from Lake Michigan College will be available to help with FAFSA completion. The session will be offered on Monday, October 22 from 5:30-7:30pm in the media center computer lab (arriving by 6:30 pm is encouraged)   Contact the counseling office to sign up, (269) 926-3210 Students and their parents should bring the following: 2017 Tax Return for both the student and parents All 2017 W-2 forms for both student and parents (if they did not file taxes) SAT Prep: Dear Parents (and Students), Fall is the perfect opportunity to start (or continue) training for the ACT and SAT .   I cannot emphasize enough how critical it is to prepare for these exams.  St. Joseph High School News 4/24/23 - 4/28/23 AP Testing Schedule:  AP Exams are around the corner, May 1-11, 2023. Students who are registered please read for important info: All day attendance is expected on exam days (report to classes before & after exams). Plan your lunch accordingly if testing might interfere with our regular lunches – bring a sack lunch with you if needed. Please save the attached test dates and locations.   NOTE : May 3rd is a late start day, but students taking AP English Lit & Composition will report at 7:30am. Students with approved accommodations through the College Board will be emailed a separate location to report to for testing. Bring #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils are allowed), black or blue ink pens, acceptable calculators, rulers, extra batteries. Dress in layers – sometimes the rooms can be cold or hot.
